Home to more than half a million inhabitants, Portland stands in the state of Oregon, on the western side of the United States. Portland is home to many places to visit, which include theaters, galleries, museums and a large number of restaurants. Of particularly interest, the Portland Center for the Performing Arts and Portland Art Museum are amongst the city's most popular attractions.

On the southeastern side of Portland, Chinatown and the Old Town district contain many lively entertainment venues, while Portland's Pearl district has recently been transformed into a particularly stylish neighborhood.
