Portland has an efficient public transport system, making it easy to get around. Trains run from Union Station along the West Coast and Greyhound buses run regularly to other US cities. Portland International Airport is just nine miles from the city's downtown and serves flights to domestic and some international locations. It can be reached by taxi or on the MAX light rail system.
